Head in Rotterdam

Head of People & Culture

Each year, International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) welcomes new and established filmmakers from all over the world. The festival offers a platform for independent film, talks, exhibitions, performances and art installations, parties and more. Additionally, we are a festival for cinephiles: our audiences. IFFR registers more than 250,000 admissions during its eleven-day festival in January/February in the port city of Rotterdam.

IFFR strives for a diverse team: a true reflection of the city of Rotterdam, where everyone is welcome, regardless of their ethnicity, economic or cultural background, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status and whether or not they have a disability. We welcome applications from all who are interested in gaining experience in our organisation.

  • Updating terms of employment annually, ensuring these align with the labour market and the needs of the team.
  • Maintaining the relationship with the staff representatives.
  • You are responsible for internal communications and organising team activities.
  • Leading up to the festival, you coordinate the onboarding and information provision of temporary and new staff, volunteers and freelancers.
