What you'll do

As a Squad Lead QA, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of Quality Engineering practices in alignment with established best practices, principles and standards. Your primary focus will be managing product risks and interdependencies throughout the product lifecycle across the foundation and product families' teams.

In this role, your main challenge will be to look for connections and synergies while remaining a sparring partner for the engineering, product, and other business stakeholders. This role will be essential to optimize quality engineering and find efficiencies across the product delivery stack.

Is this about you?

• Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• In-depth understanding and practical application of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and Continuous Testing (CT).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
• High emotional intelligence, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Clear and impactful communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.

You'll be responsible for

• Quality Assurance: Ensure QA deliverables align with established QA approaches, oversee defect management, and facilitate peer reviews of QA artifacts.
• Process Oversight: Oversee the transition of QA deliverables, maintain centralized documentation, and ensure adherence to automation governance standards.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs, enhancing our value proposition.
• Agile Development Support: Actively participate in sprint planning, define success criteria for stories and epics, and engage in squad backlog grooming sessions.
• Team Leadership: Facilitate daily stand-ups, address issues from Software Quality Engineers, and foster collaboration for efficient product implementation.
