How do I become a Medior Back-end Developer at Qooqie?

As a backend developer, you work on business-critical systems. A responsible task, because hundreds of customers use our software every day to make crucial choices. You participate in brainstorm sessions about customer experience, data and order flows with our UXdesigner and Product Owner. In addition, you create structured code that is easy to maintain and future-proof. At Qooqie, we find it important that you can grow within your function. Therefore, our mediors work closely together with a team of experienced developers.

This is what you like to do

✓ You make our applications a little better every day. ✓ You'll work with team members to build new applications. Improving the usability of our website and applications. ✓ Helping colleagues and yourself by means of pull requests, code reviewing and pair programming.

You recognise yourself in this

✓ You have experience with NodeJS. ✓ The word "database" makes your fingers itch. ✓ You have experience with relational databases (e.g. Mysql, Postgresql, oracle and db2). ✓ You have worked previously with nosql databases (e.g. MongoDB or CouchDB). ✓ You think code quality is important. ✓ You know how Git works. ✓ Experience with unit testing ✓ Experience with Integration testing. ✓ You are available for at least 32 hours. ✓ At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

It is also great if you have experience with Linux Systems, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, SCRUM, Redis, Elasticsearch, Graphql (apollo-server) and experience with other languages such as Python, Golang, Ruby and Java.
